This time we are honored to host the lecture of Massimiliano Gioni who will share his curatorial experience with the audience as well as tell about his recent and upcoming exhibitions. Ever since Massimiliano Gioni got his start in the art world as a US editor at the Flash Art magazine in Milan, he had a swift rise as a curator. In 2006 the New Museum recruited him as a director of special exhibitions. By that time he had already worked on the Berlin Biennial for Contemporary Art, Manifesta 5 in Spain, and the 50th Venice Biennale. In New York , with Maurizio Cattelan and Ali Subotnick, Massimiliano Gioni runs the Wrong Gallery, a not- for-profit space that has presented works and special projectes by, among others: Pawel Althamer, Phil Collins, Martin Creed, Paul McCarthy, Elizabeth Peyton and Tino Sehgal.
